Scribbles

I want to scribble again after a period of dryness for words. Now that my daughter is eight months old, I can hear the call of ideas shouting inside my head again. Although I have not put my way of expressing a thought into practice, I’m willing to give it another shot. With a bit of luck, I wish to be enthused once more.

Subway

Hubby and me watched “Poseidon” last night at “Rockwell” but it’s not the movie that I’m going to write about but the food I ate. We arrived at the mall exactly 15 minutes before the showing. Since we were hungry, we decided to grab a sandwich. All the while I thought I was ordering from Subway. I was looking for the “Turkey Breast” signage. I used to buy that before. To my surprise, the big sign “Olivers” blinked at me. Oh no! “Where the hell is Subway,” I asked my husband. He said pointing where Gloria Jeans is located, “there.” “But where is it now”, I asked again. “Gone,” he replied. To my dismay I settled for what’s available, Olivers. Sigh! I’m still craving for that Turkey breast sandwich up to now. I’m thinking of stopping at Subway in Glorietta before I head home tonight. I need to satisfy this craving. Thinking about it now makes me feel so excited although I feel heavy for eating McChicken, fries and regular coke for lunch; not to forget the 2 cups of coffee I had and a piece of bread Lanie gave me for snacks.
