Scribbles

I want to scribble again after a period of dryness for words. Now that my daughter is eight months old, I can hear the call of ideas shouting inside my head again. Although I have not put my way of expressing a thought into practice, I’m willing to give it another shot. With a bit of luck, I wish to be enthused once more.

Th Broken Soul

Her soul is in ruins for months now…. Being okay is just as easy as saying it….The worst thing about losing ones spirit is that no medication can kill the pain her heart nurses. No matter how other people try to cheer her up, she still feels the same agony in her solitude. The only voice she wants to lighten up her dark moments is the same person who has hurt her and made her angry. Every minute of the day she still thinks about the wrong she has done. The world suddenly becomes so pale. Her outlook in life is anything but happy. Everything is gray. Not even the people who love and care about her can wash away all the emptiness that fills her up. She started believing that life sucks, and then she hates herself and everything around her.

They say that for every minute one is angry, one loses 60 seconds of happiness that one can never get back. But the truth of the matter is, she doesn’t really know, and wouldn’t probably know, for the simple reason that she doesn’t care.

And now that her life gets too complicated, she wishes that she could just be a child again, frolicking in the warmth of comfort and security her parents, sisters and brother provide. Truly, she misses her childhood—when a soft kiss from her father can make her pain disappear, when ice cream, spaghetti and a trip to the grocery can brighten up her Sundays, when her innocence was all she got to understand life.

She describes her life as a tornado—the most intense one. Events happen in great flashes and eventually vanishes leaving immense damage. So what become of the broken soul that was hit by an intense tornado? Nothing but a selfish insomniac person. Who believes that the world will never be better, and because of that she earned the title of the Broken Soul.”
